Here at Lions Pride Holden Car Club NSW we are a non-profit organisation and try to help those that need it most.
We try to help these individuals, families or charities by holding fund raising events throughout the year by means of raffles, car shows, drive-in nights etc.
In the past we have helped raise money for:
-
2000 - We raised $3,351.00 for the Paralympic Games of 2000
-
2001 - We raised $1,019.00 in the rain for the Westmead Childrens Hospital
-
2002 - We raised $3,000.00 and brought a Oxygen Saturation Monitor for the Neonatal Unit at Nepean Hospital, and also gave $300.00 to the Community Centre at Riverstone for disadvantaged families
-
2005 - 2008 - We raised $3,800.00 through chocolates only for a little girl called Olivia, who's family needed a wheel chair lift for their car, we found one out of an old taxi which one of our sponsors sold to us for $100.00 and we paid some of the money to have it fitted.
-
2009 - We raised $1,200.00 for the Motor Neurone Disease Institute of Australia
-
2011 - We raised $1,010.00 for Arthritis Australia, with another $200.00 being donated by "The Lions Club of Cambridge Park" who assisted on the day with the BBQ
-
2012 - In the process of being sorted
On behalf of all at Lions Pride Holden Car Club NSW we would like to thank everyone that has helped us along the way to help those that need it most and hope we can continue this going into the future.
